Overview
A 17.6 lb bag of orange-scented mineral clumping litter from Neakasa, made to be used with the Neakasa M1 open-top self-cleaning litter box.
Mineral litter is formulated to clump tightly, which matters more in a self-cleaning box than in a manual one since the raking mechanism relies on solid, well-formed clumps to sift correctly. Buying the matching litter brand for an automatic box reduces the risk of jams or misreads that off-brand litter can cause.
- 17.6 lbs / 8 kg per bag
- Mineral clumping formula
- Made for the Neakasa M1 open-top self-cleaning box
- Orange scent
Who it's for
Best matched to owners who already have the Neakasa M1 self-cleaning litter box and want litter formulated for it. Owners with a manual litter box or a different automatic box should check compatibility before buying, since this is built for the M1 specifically.
Pros and cons
- Formulated to work with the Neakasa M1 self-cleaning box
- 17.6 lb bag size
- Rating sits at 4.0 with a moderate review count
- Only one scent option is listed
Performance notes
As a mineral litter, it is built to form firm clumps for reliable raking in the M1's automatic cycle, which is the main reason to pick a matched litter over a generic one for a self-cleaning box. The orange scent is the only fragrance option listed.
