Overview
Rolling on spinner wheels with a PowerScope handle that sets at two heights, this Travelpro Tourlite softside spinner is built for lifting and stowing with little effort. Inside, a full-length mesh pocket, a mesh side pocket and compression straps hold the load, and two outer pockets keep essentials close.
Low weight with a strong warranty is the reason to buy, including repair cover for airline damage in the first year. DuraGuard fabric shrugs off water and stains and cleans easily. The limit is that only the case packing size is given, without wheels and handle.
Who it's for
Frequent flyers who lift their own bag into bins and want warranty backing get a light case with easy-grip handles. People who must confirm overall dimensions for strict airlines should measure before flying.
Pros and cons
- Very light for a spinner carry-on
- Tapered expansion zipper
- Water and stain repellent DuraGuard fabric
- Three easy-grip handles
- Overall size with wheels not listed
- Handle has only two height settings
- Wheel count differs between bullets and specs
- Soft shell offers little crush protection
Performance notes
Spinner wheels let the case roll upright, steered by the Contour Grip handle with rubberized touch points. The tapered expansion adds room toward the base, so the top of the case stays slimmer. DuraGuard fabric resists water and stains, so wiping it clean is enough after most trips.
