Overview
A digital modeling engine drives this Spark 2 combo, loading amp and effect models from an app that includes Spark AI. It handles electric, acoustic and bass guitar, and doubles as a Bluetooth speaker.
The looper and app help a player practice with backing parts and try new tones. The adapter works only with the Spark 2, so a spare power supply must be the right one.
Who it's for
Home players who jam to songs and want a variety of amp sounds get a flexible unit. Gigging players, or anyone who wants a dedicated tube feel, should look at a larger amp.
Pros and cons
- Looper built in
- Smart app with Spark AI
- Works with guitar and bass
- Compact enough for desks
- Practice amp, not for stages
- Adapter fits only Spark 2
- Warranty requires authorized purchase
Performance notes
Digital modeling creates many amp and effect sounds from one speaker section, and the app shapes tones for each instrument type. The looper records parts to play over, and the Bluetooth connection streams songs.
