Overview
The ANDOLL FT-3S is a 4 liter automatic pet feeder that holds up to 8 scheduled meals a day, includes a 10-second voice recording that plays at feeding time, and runs on either a DC adapter or 3 alkaline batteries as backup, sold with a dry food sealed ring to help keep kibble fresh.
It positions itself less as a smart-app gadget and more as a dependable schedule keeper, useful when a household is not home to feed a cat or dog on time. The desiccant compartment and sealed ring are aimed at keeping dry food from going stale between feedings rather than adding networked features.
- 4 liter capacity with up to 8 meals a day
- 10-second custom voice recording plays at feeding time
- Dual power: DC adapter plus 3 alkaline battery backup
- Desiccant compartment to reduce kibble moisture
Who it's for
Pet owners who travel occasionally or keep irregular hours and want reliable, timed portions without a subscription app. Less suited to households wanting live video or two-way remote monitoring, since this model is schedule and voice only, not camera-equipped.
Pros and cons
- Holds a consistent feeding schedule for weeks without drift
- Personalized voice recording calls pets to the bowl
- Battery backup keeps schedule running through power outages
- Simple setup reported even by first-time users
- Instructions are thin on explaining portion settings
- Portion per spin runs small for cats wanting more per meal
- Not pest-proof if left accessible outdoors
Performance notes
The feeder dispenses on a programmable schedule up to 8 times a day, tilting the bowl 8 degrees so food settles where a pet can reach it, and a swinging mechanism inside is meant to stop kibble jamming above the outlet.
