Overview

Badlands Ranch Superfood Complete is an air-dried, high-protein dog food made with wild fish and turkey, formulated for adult dogs of all breed sizes. It comes in a 24 oz bag and includes ingredients like blueberry, chia seed, pumpkin and salmon oil.

Air-drying is a gentler process than kibble extrusion, which the brand ties to its high protein and raw diet type positioning on the listing. The ingredient list leans on whole-food additions such as pumpkin and chia seed rather than a long list of synthetic additives, and the brand carries the name of actress Katherine Heigl, who co-founded it, on the packaging.

Pros

Air-dried process, less processed than standard kibble
Wild fish and turkey as named proteins
Includes whole-food ingredients like pumpkin, chia seed and salmon oil

Cons

Formulated for adult dogs only, not puppies
