Overview
A single wall barrel of durable alloy rests on a one piece frame in the Uprising, a slowpitch bat from DeMarini. The single wall design is described as giving consistent results from the first swing.
The single wall barrel works in leagues that bar multi-wall or composite bats, and the listing promises steady performance without a break-in. The limitation is that the data says little about barrel length or swing balance.
Who it's for
Adult slowpitch players who want a bat that is ready on day one and allowed in strict leagues will find it straightforward. Anyone who wants a long barrel figure or a swing weight value must look at other data.
Pros and cons
- Single wall barrel for strict leagues
- One piece alloy frame
- Consistent from the first swing
- Barrel length not listed
- Swing weight not listed
- One piece frame transmits vibration
Performance notes
A single wall barrel has no inner shell, so it performs the same on day one as later in the season, unlike multi-wall bats that need break-in. A one piece alloy frame sends energy directly from handle to barrel.
