Overview
Not a modern movie figure, this Iceman recreates the look of the Secret Wars toy line from the eighties, down to the secret shield. Hasbro adds ice blasts, an ice slide, a snowball and swappable head and hands for posing.
The secret shield and retro card art speak directly to fans who grew up with the original line. Ice effects add display drama. Carded packaging is less protective than a box, which matters for in-package collectors.
Who it's for
Longtime X-Men fans and collectors of retro Marvel lines will enjoy the shield and card art. Those wanting a movie likeness or windowed box packaging should look at a different release.
Pros and cons
- Secret shield nod to the original

Performance notes
Ice effects slot onto the figure to show his powers, and the ice slide sets up a surfing pose. Articulation at the head, arms and legs handles action stances. The shield and snowball give extra hand-held options.
