Overview
The Graco 2215328 is a forward-facing toddler car seat with latch installation, a 100 pound weight capacity, polyester fabric, and a 20 pound seat weight.
This seat is built for the stage after rear-facing infant seats, forward facing only, with a 100 pound capacity that stretches usable years well past typical toddlerhood into early school age for many kids. Latch installation clips into a vehicle's built-in anchor points, generally faster and less error-prone than routing a seat belt through the seat.
- 100 lb weight capacity
- Latch installation
- Forward facing orientation
- Polyester fabric
Who it's for
Parents of toddlers who've outgrown a rear-facing infant seat and have a vehicle with compatible latch anchors. Not for babies who still need rear-facing seating.
Pros and cons
- 100 lb weight capacity extends usable years
- Latch installation for compatible vehicles
- Forward-facing only, not for infants needing rear-facing
- 20 lb seat weight adds bulk versus infant carriers
Performance notes
Latch installation uses a vehicle's built-in anchor system instead of the seat belt, which tends to reduce installation errors for parents doing it themselves. The 100 pound capacity extends the seat's useful life well beyond most toddlers' weight, and the polyester cover is machine washable for spills and messes.
