Graco Slimfit 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat

Overview

The Graco 2215460 is a forward facing car seat rated to 100 pounds, built with a polyester cover and Latch installation, weighing 19.5 pounds. The listed age range is Kid, meaning it is meant for children past the infant and rear facing stage.

A 100 pound weight limit and forward facing orientation put this seat in the category of a booster or combination harness seat rather than an infant carrier. Latch installation is the detail worth noting, since it lets a parent install without threading the vehicle seat belt.

• Forward facing orientation
• 100 pound weight capacity
• Latch installation
• Polyester cover

Who it's for

Suited to parents of older children who have outgrown rear facing infant and convertible seats and need forward facing coverage up to 100 pounds. Not intended for newborns or infants.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

Latch installation anchors the seat directly to the vehicle's built in anchor points, which tends to be faster and more consistent than a seat belt install. The polyester cover is a standard, washable fabric choice for car seats, and the 100 pound limit gives it a long service life for a forward facing seat.
