Overview
Not a backpack and not a full size roller, the RAINSMORE bag is an underseat carry-on on wheels with a padded laptop section. It opens flat in stages for security checks, and a back strap slides it over the handle of upright luggage.
Organization for work travel is the case for it: laptop and tablet padding, a key ring organizer and quick access front pockets. In-line wheels and a small main compartment limit it to short trips.
Who it's for
Business travelers and students heading out for a few days get padded tech storage under the seat. Families packing for longer trips or anyone wanting spinners should look at a larger carry-on.
Pros and cons
- Flat opening for security checks
- Laptop and tablet padding
- Spare zipper lock in the box
- Stacks on upright luggage
- Two in-line wheels only
- Space for a few days only
- Listed weight figures conflict
- Water resistant, not waterproof
Performance notes
In-line wheels and a reinforced base let the bag tilt and roll over rough ground without scraping the fabric. The three stage handle adjusts height to cut wobble while pulling a full load.
