Overview

The Everdure EKILN2SUS is a gas-fueled outdoor cooker built in cast iron with a stone-colored finish, measuring 29.1 by 26 by 14.96 inches.

Cast iron construction holds and radiates heat differently than the stainless steel common on most grills in this batch, which suits steady, even cooking more than quick searing. The stone finish is also a departure from the black or stainless look typical of the category.

Who it's for

Suits buyers wanting a gas outdoor cooker with a cast iron build and a stone-toned finish that stands apart from typical grill styling. Less suited to anyone who needs the specific cooking function confirmed, since this listing only names it as a cooker.

Pros and cons

Pros

Cast iron construction holds heat steadily
Distinct stone-toned finish

Cons

Cast iron heats up slower than stainless steel grills
Exact cooking function not specified in this listing

Performance notes

Cast iron retains heat longer than thinner stainless steel, so it holds a steady temperature well once heated, though it also takes longer to heat up and is heavier to move or reposition.
