Overview
Turning the dedicated film simulation dial on this compact mirrorless camera changes the look of every shot before you press the shutter. The Fujifilm X-T kit pairs a high resolution X-Trans sensor with in-body stabilization and an interchangeable zoom lens.
High resolution in a light travel body, plus direct access to film looks, makes it rewarding for street and travel shooters. The bundle adds a fast card and a spare battery, so it is ready out of the box. It is not water resistant, and the kit zoom is modest in low light.
Who it's for
Enthusiasts stepping up from a phone, and travelers who like to shape color in camera, will enjoy it. Wildlife and sports shooters who need weather sealing and long lenses should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- High resolution sensor
- Film simulation dial
- Spare battery and card included
- Light travel body
- Not water resistant
- Kit lens slow in low light
- Battery life not stated
Performance notes
The high resolution sensor rewards sharp lenses and steady technique, and sensor-shift stabilization helps at slower shutter speeds. The kit zoom has a modest aperture, so dim scenes raise ISO. Large files fill cards and buffers faster.
