A cellular camera for property with no WiFi, sending motion alerts to a phone and recharging from the bundled solar panel. Cell coverage at the site and the data plan terms decide whether it works for you, and the listing says nothing about the plan.

Overview
Watching a gate, cabin or job site with no internet is the job here: the Defend connects over cellular LTE and reports to a smartphone. A solar panel tops up the rechargeable battery, and the camera mounts on a wall outdoors.
Independence from WiFi and wall power is why to buy it, since cellular plus solar lets it run at a remote ranch or build site. Signal strength at the mount point is the limit, and no subscription or storage details appear in the listing.
Who it's for
Remote cabins, ranch gates and active job sites are the setting for this camera, where no network or outlet reaches. Buyers in areas with weak cell reception, or those wanting local recording only, should look at another setup.
Pros and cons
- Works without WiFi over cellular
- Solar panel included in the bundle
- Rechargeable battery included
- High resolution video capture
- Needs cellular coverage at the site
- Data plan terms not listed
- Only a wall mount style is listed
- Solar output depends on sun exposure
Performance notes
Results depend first on the cellular signal where the camera hangs, since every alert travels over LTE to the phone. Runtime rides on how much sun reaches the panel to refill the battery, and night clips depend on targets staying inside the night vision reach.
