Overview
This Momcozy warmer, model MW05, is a cordless, rechargeable bottle warmer built for travel, heating water or breastmilk in a 17 ounce chamber with a leak proof lid so it can ride in a diaper bag or car cup holder.
Rather than plugging into an outlet, it runs on a rechargeable battery rated for about nineteen 4 ounce water warms or five 4 ounce refrigerated milk warms per charge, with a 1.5 hour recharge time. Two modes split water heating, 98 to 122F, from breastmilk warming, 90 to 98F, each with several selectable set points instead of one fixed temperature. Momcozy notes its bundled power adapter is matched to this model and warns against using it with other USB-C devices.
- Cordless, rechargeable design
- 17 oz large capacity
- 1.5 hour fast recharge
- Leak proof lid for travel
Who it's for
Aimed at parents who feed on the move, at the park, in the car, or on trips, and want a warmer that does not need a wall outlet. Less useful for a household warming exclusively at one kitchen counter, where a corded warmer needs no battery to manage.
Pros and cons
- Cordless and rechargeable for travel use
- 17 ounce capacity covers multiple feedings
- Separate temperature sets for water and breastmilk
- Leak proof lid for a diaper bag or car
- Battery needs recharging after a limited number of warms
- Only the included MW05 adapter is rated safe for this unit
Performance notes
The stated cycle warms 4 ounces of water to 104F in about two minutes or 4 ounces of breastmilk to 98F in about five minutes, using selectable set points rather than one fixed temperature, 90, 95, or 98F for breastmilk and 98, 104, 110, or 122F for water. A full charge is rated for roughly nineteen water warms or five refrigerated milk warms before it needs its 1.5 hour recharge.
