Overview
Homeowners with touchy plumbing get Scott ComfortPlus, a one-ply bath tissue on long Mega rolls made with clog-free technology so it breaks down quickly after flushing. The brand says the sheet is thicker and stronger than a leading value brand.
Quick-dissolving paper on long rolls is the reason to choose it, especially for older pipes. Scott claims it is thicker and stronger than a leading value brand. It is still a single-ply sheet, so it will not feel as plush as a cushioned two-ply.
Who it's for
Suited to households, rentals and cabins where clogs are a worry and roll changes should be rare. People who prefer a plush, quilted feel will want a two-ply roll.
Pros and cons
- Long Mega rolls, fewer changes
- Breaks down fast after flushing
- Thicker than a leading value brand
- Single ply only
- Roll diameter not listed
- Packaging may differ from photos
Performance notes
A single-ply sheet with clog-free technology breaks apart quickly in water, which helps pipes and septic lines. Strength and thickness claims are measured against a value brand, so comfort comes from sheet construction rather than layers.
