Overview
A 4-ounce iodine-rich sea kelp granule supplement from Chew + Heal Labs, meant as a food topper for coat, digestion, and thyroid-related support, with a scoop included for dosing.
Sea kelp supplements are typically used for coat and digestive support because of their natural iodine content, and this one lists coat, stomach, and weight among its target uses. The category this listing sits under (Probiotics) doesn't match the product itself, which is a kelp mineral supplement rather than a probiotic.
- 4 ounce kelp granule supplement
- Includes 5cc scoop for dosing
- Iodine and sea kelp as active ingredients
- Contains fish allergen
Who it's for
Suits owners wanting a measured-scoop mineral topper for coat and digestive support rather than guessing a pinch by hand. Contains fish-derived ingredients, so it isn't suitable for dogs with fish allergies.
Pros and cons
- Includes a scoop for consistent dosing
- Iodine-rich formula aimed at coat and digestive support
- Made in USA
- Contains fish as an allergen, unsuitable for fish-sensitive dogs
- Listed under Probiotics though it's a kelp mineral supplement, not a probiotic
Performance notes
Kelp's natural iodine content drives the coat and thyroid-support positioning, and the granule form with an included scoop makes portioning more consistent than loose powder. Because it lists fish as an allergen, dogs with known fish sensitivities should avoid it.
