Overview
This is Amazon Basics' entry-level corded hot glue gun, bundled with 30 glue sticks for general crafting, school projects and quick household fixes. It plugs in, heats in one to two minutes, and stays at a single working temperature throughout the job.
There is no dial or dual-temperature switch here, this is a basic single-heat corded gun aimed at volume and price rather than features. The drip-free nozzle and 20W element are the functional claims worth trusting; the rest of the listing is generic craft-glue-gun copy.
- 20W heating element
- Compatible with plastic, paper, wood, metal and artificial flowers
- Compact footprint at roughly 6.3 by 5.7 by 7.3 inches
- 30 glue sticks included with the gun
Who it's for
Fits households, classrooms and casual crafters who need a working glue gun and a stock of sticks without paying for cordless convenience or dual temperature control. Not the choice for anyone gluing delicate fabrics or foam that need a lower-heat setting.
Pros and cons
- Comes with 30 glue sticks, ready to use out of the box
- Heats up in about one to two minutes
- Drip-free nozzle limits mess between applications
- Single fixed heat setting, no low-temp mode for delicate materials
- Corded, so it is tied to an outlet while working
Performance notes
A 20W heating element brings the gun to working temperature in about one to two minutes and holds it there for the session; there is no low setting, so it runs hot the whole time it is plugged in. The drip-free nozzle is meant to stop stray glue between trigger pulls rather than change how fast the bond sets. Thirty included sticks are enough to get through a first project or two before a refill is needed.
