Overview
A 16 inch electric tricycle for kids built on a 6061 aluminum step-through frame, with a removable 25.2V 10.4Ah battery, front disc brake and a rear basket, sized for children who need three-wheel stability rather than a two-wheel electric bike.
Several grandparents and parents of kids with disabilities single it out for letting a child ride alongside siblings for the first time. The main safety concern raised is that the electric assist has no fine low-speed setting for very young or first-time riders.
- 16 x 3.0 inch fat tires with a low step-through aluminum frame
- Removable 25.2V 10.4Ah battery rated up to 35 miles
- Front disc brake
- Color LCD display, front light and rear basket
Pros and cons
- Removable battery charges separately from the trike
- Adjustable seat and handlebar grow with the child
- Helped children with mobility limits ride again
- Lowest speed setting reportedly too fast for kids
- No separate parental speed lock available
- One unit arrived missing the drive chain
Performance notes
The three-wheel layout with 16 x 3.0 inch fat tires gives more stability than a two-wheel ebike at low speed, and the front disc brake provides stopping power to match the electric assist. The removable 25.2V 10.4Ah battery is rated up to 35 miles per charge, though that range depends on rider weight and terrain.
