Overview
Not a chocolate or candy countdown, this Barbie calendar reveals a mini doll on day one and village accessories behind the other doors. By the end, a winter scene with houses, a sleigh and a tree is ready for storytelling.
Building a village day by day gives kids a reason to open each door and then play with the result. The dolls are tiny, and the playsets their bases plug into are sold separately.
Who it's for
Kids who enjoy tiny figures and setting up scenes will use the village well after December. Households with very young children should hold off, since the pieces are small.
Pros and cons
- Builds a full winter scene
- Mini dolls bend at the waist
- Works with Mini BarbieLand playsets
- Accessories support storytelling
- Playsets sold separately
- No age range listed
- Very small pieces
Performance notes
Play value comes from how the pieces combine: dolls stand on heart shaped bases and the houses, sleigh and tree set the scene.
