Overview
A four piece queen sheet set from Love's cabin made of 100% rayon derived from bamboo, with a fitted sheet pocket deep enough for mattresses up to 16 inches, aimed at hot sleepers who want a cooler, silkier feel than cotton.
Rayon derived from bamboo behaves differently than cotton twill: it drapes cooler against skin and wicks moisture, which is the main draw for people who sleep hot. The 16 inch pocket depth is the detail worth checking against your actual mattress height, since a shallow pocket is the most common complaint with deep mattresses.
- 100% rayon derived from bamboo, twill weave construction
- Fitted sheet pocket up to 16 inches deep with elastic corners
- Flat sheet 90 x 102 in, fitted sheet 60 x 80 + 16 in, 2 pillowcases 20 x 30 in
- OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified material
Who it's for
Suited to hot sleepers with a mattress up to about 16 inches thick who want a smoother, cooler sheet than standard cotton. Not the pick for anyone who wants a heavier, more structured percale feel.
Pros and cons
- Cooler, silkier feel than typical cotton sheets
- Deep pocket design fits thicker mattresses without slipping
- Complete 4 piece set covers sheet and pillowcase needs
- Certified fabric with no bleach needed for care
- Needs cold water wash, no bleach or softener
- Can wrinkle if not removed from the dryer promptly
Performance notes
Rayon derived from bamboo is a smooth, moisture wicking fiber, and the twill weave used here adds strength versus a plain weave rayon sheet. The elastic corner straps on the fitted sheet are meant to keep 16 inch deep mattresses covered without the corners popping loose overnight.
