Overview
Recording a parent's own bounce motion and replaying it, the Elvie Rise soothes a baby hands-free. The same beech frame converts into a lie-flat bassinet with a firm mattress, so daytime bouncing can turn into sleep without moving the baby.
Combining a bouncer, rocker and bassinet in one footprint saves floor space in a small home, and the app lets you adjust motion from across the room. Cordless running time is short, so longer sessions depend on a power source.
Who it's for
Parents short on floor space get bouncer, rocker and bassinet in one frame, with app control from the couch. Families who want something that lasts past the early baby months, or who avoid app-connected gear, should look past it.
Pros and cons
- Replaces bouncer, bassinet and rocker
- Copies and repeats your bounce motion
- Converts to bassinet without moving baby
- App start, stop and sleep tracking
- Low maximum baby weight
- Cordless runtime limited to a few hours
- Listing title and highlight mention a breast pump
- Charger details not listed
Performance notes
Soothing quality depends on how well Sootheloop captures the parent's bounce, since it replays that recorded motion. Safe sleep in bassinet mode rests on the flat firm mattress and the harness retracting out of the way. Cordless use is governed by the built-in battery, after which power is needed.
