Overview
The Rohent N65-1 is a wired baby monitor with a 1080p camera and color night vision.
Unlike many baby monitors that market themselves on wireless range, the N65-1 lists wired connectivity and a corded electric power source, so setup is closer to a fixed camera than a portable handheld unit. Its 1080p resolution and color night vision are ahead of the low resolution, black and white norm in this category. High recent purchase volume suggests it currently sells well, though this data set does not include the seller's own description or buyer review text.
- 1080p video resolution
- Color night vision
- Wired connectivity, corded electric power
- 0.45 kg camera weight
Who it's for
Parents who want a fixed nursery camera near an outlet and prioritize sharper 1080p video and color night vision over portability. Less suited to households that need to move the monitor between rooms or rely on battery power.
Pros and cons
- 1080p resolution for a sharper picture
- Color night vision instead of black and white infrared
- Lightweight camera at 0.45 kilograms
- Wired connectivity limits where you can place the camera
- Corded electric power means no battery backup
Performance notes
The 1080p resolution puts this monitor's picture quality above the 480p to 720p range common in budget baby monitors, and color night vision is a step up from the black and white infrared image most competitors show after dark. Because it runs on corded electric power with wired connectivity, placement is fixed to wherever you can run a cable, which trades portability for a more stable connection. At 0.45 kilograms it is light enough to mount without extra hardware.
