Overview
Not a carbon showpiece, this HJC full face helmet uses a computer designed fiberglass composite shell. It pairs a Pinlock ready shield and insert with a tool-less shield system, washable pads and emergency release cheek pads.
HJC covers the essentials of a modern full face, including anti-fog and quick shield swaps, in a fiberglass shell. Tinted shields mean a separate purchase, since only the clear one ships.
Who it's for
Daily commuting and weekend rides suit a full face with good ventilation and a fog free view. Riders who want built in sun glare control should look for an internal visor model.
Pros and cons
- Pinlock insert included
- Tool-less shield changes
- Emergency release cheek pads
- Washable, wicking liner
- Dark smoke shield not included
- Shield part numbers inconsistent
- No internal sun visor listed
Performance notes
The ventilation channels move air across the head and out the back, which limits heat and fogging. The Pinlock insert creates a sealed double pane that blocks condensation.
