Overview
This is an enclosed shark-shaped shelter for indoor cats, not an open-frame condo. It gives a cat a private den to retreat into, sized 17 x 16 x 14 inches, with a washable cushioned pillow inside.
Despite the Cat Condos category label, this is a single enclosed hideaway rather than a multi-tier climbing structure. The closed shape is meant to help anxious or shy cats feel secure, and the cushion lifts out for washing.
- Enclosed shark-shaped shelter
- 17 x 16 x 14 inch size
- Washable cushioned pillow
- Built for indoor cats
Who it's for
Suits owners of a nervous, shy, or easily startled cat who wants a cozy den rather than a climbing tower. Less useful for owners hoping for a scratching post or multi-level condo, since this is a single enclosed shelter.
Pros and cons
- Enclosed design suits shy or anxious cats
- Washable cushioned pillow inside
- Compact 17 x 16 x 14 inch footprint
- Not a climbing condo despite the category listing
- Single-cat size only
Performance notes
The shark shape encloses the cat on most sides, cutting down on visual stimulation that can trigger stress. The washable pillow means the sleeping surface can be freshened without replacing the whole house.
