Overview
This Graco car seat is a forward-facing model rated for children up to 120 pounds, installed with the Latch system and built with a polyester cover. It fits families moving a child out of a rear-facing seat and through booster age use.
A 120 pound weight capacity is high for a single seat, which usually points to a seat that grows through harness mode into belt-positioning booster mode as the child ages. The Latch installation keeps setup consistent even as the child grows into the higher weight ranges.
- Forward-facing orientation
- 120 lb weight capacity
- Latch installation
- Polyester cover, 27.5 lb seat weight
Who it's for
Parents with a child old enough to ride forward-facing who want one seat to last from harness use into the booster years. Not the right seat for a newborn or for families needing rear-facing capability.
Pros and cons
- High 120 lb weight capacity extends usable years
- Latch installation for a consistent fit
- Forward-facing harness for older toddlers and kids
- Not usable rear-facing
- At 27.5 lbs it is heavier than compact travel seats
Performance notes
Latch installation is generally quicker and more consistent to get right than a seat belt install, which matters over years of regular use. The polyester cover is standard for car seats and typically machine washable, though exact care instructions vary by listing.
