Overview
The Graco 2215453 is a forward-facing car seat rated for children up to 100 pounds, secured with a Latch installation and finished in a polyester cover. At 20.6 pounds it is not the lightest seat in Graco's lineup, but the extended weight ceiling stands out for a forward-facing design.
A 100 pound weight limit is high for a forward-facing seat, which usually signals a harness adjustable well beyond a typical toddler size. The listing does not specify recline positions or harness slot count, so families who need those details should confirm with Graco directly before buying.
- 100 pound weight capacity
- Forward-facing orientation
- Latch installation
- Polyester seat cover
Who it's for
Best suited to parents of an older or larger child who has outgrown a standard forward-facing harness seat but still wants the security of a five point harness rather than a booster.
Pros and cons
- Forward-facing harness rated to 100 pounds
- No rear-facing option
- No recline or harness slot detail listed
- 20.6 pound item weight adds bulk
Performance notes
Installation runs through the vehicle's Latch anchors rather than a seatbelt-only setup, which tends to simplify a correct fit once the anchors are located. The polyester cover is the only fabric detail given, with no washing or padding specifics listed.
