Overview
LcFun's rechargeable arc lighter ships as a two pack with a straight, slim stem instead of a bendable neck, built for candles, grills, gas stoves, and camp stoves without butane. It works as a windproof lighter that recharges over USB rather than needing fuel refills.
- Auto power off after 7 seconds
- Rated 500+ ignitions per charge
- Real time LED battery display
- Available in black and gold
Who it's for
Fits people replacing a drawer full of disposable lighters, especially for candles, incense, gas stoves, or grilling. Households with young children in reach of the lighter should keep the existing safety lock engaged, since a bare button press is enough to fire it.
Pros and cons
- Strong, consistent arc even in light wind
- Battery holds a charge for weeks of regular use
- Slim body reaches into deep candle jars
- Two pack with charging cables included
- Neck is fixed, not bendable, unlike some competing arc lighters
- Trigger fires on a single press with no automatic childproofing beyond the manual lock
- Less suited to backflow incense cones, per at least one owner
Performance notes
A plasma arc jumps between two contacts near the tip to light a wick or burner, powered by an internal battery that recharges over USB in about an hour and is rated for more than 500 ignitions per charge. The auto power off after 7 seconds and the external lock switch are the two safety layers, though the lock has to be engaged manually each time rather than resetting itself.

Frequently asked questions
How many times can it light something on one charge?
The listing states roughly one hour of charging is good for more than 500 ignitions.
Is it safe around kids?
It has a manual external safety lock switch, but at least one reviewer wanted stronger built-in childproofing since the trigger fires on a simple button press once unlocked.
