Poo-Pourri Rinse-Free Deodorizing Pet Dry Shampoo

Overview

Poo-Pourri's rinse-free deodorizing dry shampoo is a no-rinse foam for dogs and cats, built to deodorize and moisturize skin and coat between baths using plant-based, dye-free ingredients in a pineapple, jasmine and pear scent.

Because it needs no water or rinsing, it is positioned for quick touch-ups rather than a deep clean, setting it apart from the standard liquid shampoos also sold under this category. The 6 fluid ounce size and gel-to-foam format point to spot use rather than full-body bathing.

• 6 fluid ounce no-rinse foam shampoo
• Plant-based, dye-free formula
• Pineapple, jasmine and pear scent
• Works on both dogs and cats

Who it's for

Fits owners who need a fast odor fix between full baths, or pets that tolerate water poorly. Also suits anyone wanting a dye-free, plant-derived formula over a detergent-heavy shampoo. Not a substitute for a full wash on a heavily soiled or muddy pet.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

The gel-based formula is applied and worked through the coat without water, then left to dry rather than rinsed out, which is what makes it usable between baths or on pets that resist water. Plant-derived, dye-free ingredients are the stated basis for the moisturizing and odor-control claims.
