Overview
A single HDPE plastic poolside chair with a contoured seat and a front lip designed to rest on a pool edge, dock or bench, built for lounging at the water rather than sitting at a table.
Despite sitting in a folding-chair listing, this is really a low pool-edge seat: the front lip is what lets it perch on a coping edge, dock plank or bleacher row, and the model number PF-EDGESEAT-01-WHITE ties it to the GoSports Coast Modern line. HDPE plastic and stainless hardware are the pieces meant to shrug off chlorine, salt water and sun over a full season.
- HDPE plastic with stainless steel hardware
- Contoured, non-slip seat shape
- Front lip for pool edges, docks and benches
- 22 H x 18 W x 25 D inches, folds for transport
Pros and cons
- Front lip fits pool edges, docks and benches
- Folds flat with a carry handle
- Stainless hardware resists chlorine and salt water
- Plastic surface gets noticeably hot in direct sun
- One reviewer found it uncomfortable despite good quality
Performance notes
The contoured seat is shaped to keep a swimsuit from sliding, and the front lip lets the chair hook onto a pool coping, dock plank or bench instead of needing flat ground.
