Overview

An AM4 ATX motherboard for Ryzen 3000, 4000 and 5000 series CPUs, with dual M.2 slots, PCIe 4.0, built-in WiFi 6 and a reinforced 10+3 phase power design.

This is a DDR4 board on the AM4 socket, which by now is a mature, well-supported platform rather than the newest one, a fair tradeoff for a Ryzen 5000 build that doesn't need DDR5. EZ-Latch mechanisms on the PCIe and M.2 slots are a small but real convenience during the build itself.

  • AM4 socket for Ryzen 3000/4000/5000
  • 10+3 phase VRM with enlarged heatsinks
  • Dual M.2 slots, PCIe 4.0
  • WiFi 6, gigabit LAN, USB-C

Who it's for

Fits a Ryzen 5000, 4000 or 3000 build where DDR4 pricing or an existing kit makes more sense than jumping to a DDR5 platform. Not the pick for anyone planning a future upgrade path to AMD's newer AM5 chips, since this socket doesn't support them.

Strengths and trade-offs

Drawn from this product's published specifications.

What stands out
  • Supports 3 generations of Ryzen (3000/4000/5000)
  • Dual M.2 slots on PCIe 4.0
  • Built-in WiFi 6 and gigabit LAN
  • Reinforced 10+3 phase VRM for sustained load
What to check first
  • DDR4 only, no DDR5 upgrade path
  • AM4 is a mature socket with no route to newer AM5 chips
  • No customer reviews yet on this listing

Performance notes

The 10+3 phase VRM, built with digital twin power stages and premium chokes and capacitors, is sized to hold steady voltage under a higher core-count Ryzen 5000 chip rather than just the lower-end parts the AM4 socket has also supported. Enlarged VRM heatsinks with 5 W/mK thermal pads keep that power stage cool during sustained load, and the pre-installed I/O armor and EZ-Latch slots mainly speed up the physical build rather than affecting performance.
