Overview
An elevated outdoor dog house from Yaheetech with a wicker-look iron frame, a canopy roof, and an included cushion, sized for small to medium dogs.
Despite the wicker name, the material spec lists iron rather than actual wicker, so the look is a woven style finish over a metal frame rather than natural rattan. Being elevated off the ground with a canopy is the functional point, it is built to sit on a deck, patio or by a pool and give shade rather than serve as a fully enclosed shelter.
- Elevated dog bed with canopy shade
- Iron frame, wicker-style finish
- Cushion included, gray on black
- 18.5 lb, sized for small/medium dogs
Who it's for
Fits owners who want an outdoor resting spot with shade for a small or medium dog on a deck, patio or yard. Not meant as a cold weather shelter given the open, elevated design.
Pros and cons
- Elevated design keeps dog off hot or wet ground
- Canopy provides shade outdoors
- Includes a cushion
- Assembly instructions and accessory kit included
- Open design is not suited to cold or wet weather shelter
Performance notes
Raising the bed off the ground keeps the dog away from wet or hot patio surfaces, while the canopy blocks direct sun, together doing the shade and airflow job an open dog house is meant for. The included cushion adds the actual sleeping surface, since the iron frame and canopy alone would just be a shaded platform.
