Overview
On a large open lawn, this Husqvarna Xcite Z375 puts a gas Kohler engine behind a wide reinforced steel deck and steers with a zero-turn layout. A control panel and a spring-assisted deck lift are part of the Z200 series design.
Reason to buy: the extra-wide deck cuts passes and mowing time on a large lawn, and the deck lift assist reduces effort. Limitation: the width and weight need serious storage and gate clearance, and operating figures are not provided.
Who it's for
Property owners who mow large open areas on a regular schedule get the broader of the two Xcite decks with a familiar control layout. Anyone with tight access, small turf or only push-mower storage space should consider a smaller model.
Pros and cons
- Very wide cutting deck
- Large Kohler engine
- Spring-assisted deck lift
- Reinforced steel deck
- Very wide, needs clearance
- Heavy to transport
- Ground speed and fuel capacity unstated
- Height range listed in mixed units
Performance notes
A large Kohler engine feeds the transmissions that drive each rear wheel separately, so the machine can pivot on the spot. The wider deck covers more grass per pass, which cuts total mowing time, though it fits fewer gaps and tight corners.
