Overview
This Hamilton Beach Power Elite is a 700-watt countertop blender with a 40-ounce glass jar, stainless Ice Sabre blades, and 12 preset functions for smoothies, ice crushing, and pureeing.
The Wave Action system recirculates ingredients toward the blades rather than relying on blade speed alone, which is the mechanism behind the ice-crushing claims in the listing. One recurring complaint involves the jar separating from the base during use, which the seller attributed to assembly rather than a defect.
- 700-watt motor, stainless Ice Sabre blades
- 40-ounce glass jar
- 12 blending functions, 5 controls
- No-drip patented pour spout
Who it's for
Good for anyone making smoothies or ice drinks regularly on a tight budget who does not need premium build quality. Buyers who have had a blender come apart mid-blend before should check that the jar seats securely before first use.
Pros and cons
- Crushes ice without leaving chunks
- Glass jar with multiple access points on lid
- Dishwasher-safe parts for quick cleanup
