Overview
The TOPFORT kit bundles a 420 stainless pliers, a 7-inch fillet knife with sheath, a fish lip gripper, a line cutter, scissors, a coiled lanyard, and a retractor into one gift-boxed fishing tool set.
The pliers are the weak point according to owners: aluminum bodies with a steel clip that some report rusting, and less gripping strength than higher-end pliers.
- 7-piece kit: pliers, knife, gripper, cutter, scissors
- 420 stainless pliers with tungsten carbide cutters
- 7 inch fillet knife with sheath included
- Coiled lanyard and retractor to prevent tool loss
Who it's for
Fits anglers who want one set covering pliers, knife, gripper, and cutters without buying each separately, or buyers looking for a gift for someone who fishes. Anglers who need heavy-duty pliers for big fish or saltwater use daily may find the included pliers underpowered.
Pros and cons
- Covers pliers, knife, gripper, and cutters in one kit
- Fillet knife stays sharp and has not rusted for owners
- Fish gripper works well for landing and releasing fish
- Comes in a gift box, useful for buying as a present
- Pliers reported flimsy with limited gripping power
- Steel clip on pliers can rust over time
- Hook remover runs short for larger fish like catfish
