Overview
Uniden's flagship windshield-mount detector, using dual Blackfin DSP chips and dual antennas to flag laser and radar threats from all four directions with spoken alerts. Built for highway drivers who want long-range warning, not just a beep.
It replaces earlier Uniden models with a built-in GPS that auto-mutes known false-alert spots along a driver's usual routes, plus a pre-loaded red light and speed camera database that updates over firmware rather than a live data plan. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and R/TACH app support add phone control on top of the unit's own display. The tradeoff is a windshield mount and a voice-alert vocabulary the driver has to learn to get full value from the directional arrows.
