BLUEWING Cuban Yo-Yo Hand Reel Spool

Overview

BLUEWING's Line Spooler is a compact plastic winder for transferring fishing line from bulk spools onto a reel, sized at about 7 inches and weighing under 4 ounces so it stores easily in a tackle bag.

Loading new line by hand tends to leave twist and uneven tension, and a hand spooler like this gives a fixed point to spin the bulk spool against while the reel takes up line under steady pull. At under 4 ounces it is built to travel rather than sit permanently on a bench, and the plastic build keeps cost and weight down compared to metal line-winding stations.

• 7 inch plastic line spooler
• Blue finish
• 3.88 ounce weight
• Built for spinning reel line loading

Who it's for

Suits anglers who respool their own spinning reels at home or on the boat and want to avoid line twist without buying a full electric line winder. Anyone who only respools once or twice a season may find it easier to keep using a shop's machine.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

The 7 inch frame holds the bulk line spool while the angler reels line onto the spinning reel, keeping consistent tension so the line lays evenly rather than twisting. Its light plastic build makes it easy to pack but is not meant for the load of continuous shop use.
