Overview
A foam body that expands when opened forms the walls of this ball pit, and a fabric cover wraps it. The colorful balls, with star shapes among them, fill the pit for crawling, tossing and climbing in.
The foam walls give toddlers a padded play space that sets up without tools, and the removable cover makes cleaning simple. The limitation is the footprint: it needs a clear patch of floor and is listed for use indoors.
Who it's for
Parents of crawlers and young walkers who want active play inside the house. The set arrives with balls, so no extra purchase is needed. Families wanting an outdoor play area or a pit for older kids should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Balls included with the pit
- Washable fabric cover comes off
- Soft foam walls for toddlers
- Star shaped balls add variety
- Indoor use only
- Cover only, not the foam, is washable
- Needs clear floor space
- Fabric and plastic materials only
Performance notes
Foam walls hold their shape because the foam expands once it is unfolded, and the padding softens falls at the edge. Crush-resistant balls spring back after being squeezed, so the pit stays full of round balls. Washing the cover removes spills without handling the foam.
