Overview
Home manicure fans who want salon-style gel get OPI's GELement system, whose no-wipe top coat seals color with high shine and resists scratches. The gels cure under an LED lamp and soak off for removal.
The no-wipe top coat skips the sticky cleanup step and holds shine through daily wear. OPI's GELiversity videos teach prep, application and removal. The listing title marks the LED lamp and starter supplies as sold separately.
Who it's for
Gel manicure fans with an LED lamp who want salon-level shine will use it. First-timers without a lamp need to buy the curing light separately.
Pros and cons
- No-wipe top coat
- Free how-to videos
- LED lamp sold separately
- Kit contents unclear in listing
- Gel removal takes time
Performance notes
Gel layers harden only under an LED lamp, which sets them into a durable finish. The no-wipe top coat cures without a sticky layer, so no alcohol wipe is needed. Proper prep decides how long the manicure lasts.
