Overview
This is a compact 20 bar semi-automatic espresso machine with a steam wand for milk frothing, PID temperature control, and a 50oz water tank, aimed at home users making espresso, lattes and cappuccinos.
The pump pressure and PID control are the two specs that actually affect the cup: 20 bar for crema, and PID holding water within about 2 degrees Celsius so shots do not drift hot or weak. Buyers consistently describe it as easy for a first-time espresso user rather than something aimed at experienced baristas.
- 20 bar Italian pump
- PID temperature control
- 1350W heater, 30 second heat-up
- 50oz removable water tank
Who it's for
Suits someone buying their first home espresso machine who wants one-touch operation over manually dialing things in. Less suited to anyone who wants fine-grained manual control over shot pressure or milk temperature.
Performance notes
A 20 bar Italian pump is what produces the crema, paired with a 1350W heater that reaches temperature in about 30 seconds and a PID system holding water to within roughly 2 degrees Celsius through the shot. The steam wand rotates 360 degrees for frothing, and the 50oz tank is sized to cut down how often it needs refilling.
