A self-washing litter box that dissolves waste and flushes it down a drain, so nothing is scooped or bagged. It needs a water supply and drain nearby, which limits where it can go.

Overview
A washing arm and flush cycle sit at the core of the CatGenie: after each use it lifts waste, breaks it down with water and SaniSolution, and flushes it through a toilet or laundry drain. Plant-based litter granules clump and dissolve.
No scooping and no waste drawer is the case for it, since waste leaves the home through the drain. The app shows cycles and alerts. Placement is tied to plumbing, and the cartridge and litter are ongoing supplies.
Who it's for
Owners who hate scooping and have a bathroom or laundry room for the box suit the flush design. Apartments with no plumbing nearby will struggle to place it.
Pros and cons
- No scooping or waste handling
- Waste leaves through the drain
- App alerts and cycle control
- Can run covered or uncovered
- Needs a water and drain hookup
- Warranty length listed inconsistently
- Uses proprietary litter and cartridges
Performance notes
Cleaning relies on the water cycle dissolving clumps fully, so the SaniSolution supply and water flow decide how clean the bowl gets. Placement near the drain matters for the flush line. App settings set when cycles run after use.
