Overview
Skee-Ball builds the Glow around an elaborate lighting package, with red or blue LED lights plus a digital LED pixel display. A cork ramp, hundo targets and classic arcade sounds handle the roll and score play, and household power runs it.
Buy it for the lit-up look, which turns a game room into a carnival style arcade with free play for friends and family. The limitation is the bulk, since it needs a dedicated indoor room.
Who it's for
Home arcades and rec rooms with the room and floor strength for a heavy machine. Small apartments and outdoor patios are the wrong place for it.
Pros and cons
- Red or blue LED lighting package
- Cork ramp and hundo targets
- Auto-return ball system
- Free Play button
- Very large and heavy
- Indoor use only
- Operation mode listed as manual
Performance notes
Balls roll up the cork ramp toward the targets, and the ball collection and auto-return system lets play continue. LED lights and a pixel display show the action, while classic arcade sounds add atmosphere. The machine plugs in rather than running on batteries.
