Overview
Cover Geny cuts this 600D polyester cover to the exact footprint of Royal Gourmet's CC1830 series charcoal grills and smokers, at 60 inches long by 29 wide by 45 high, with a PVC-backed waterproof layer underneath.
Because this is a fit-specific accessory, the size is the whole story: it is cut for the Royal Gourmet CC1830 barrel-style charcoal grill and smoker, and the listing notes it will also work on other grills of a similar barrel shape and footprint, though a reviewer using a different brand of similar size found the fit close but not exact.
- Fade-resistant UV coating on the outer layer
- PVC backing for water resistance
- Comes with its own storage bag
- Designed for grills up to 60L x 29W x 45H inches
Who it's for
Right choice for anyone who owns one of the listed Royal Gourmet CC1830 models and wants a cover sized to that grill rather than a generic universal size. Owners of a differently shaped grill, even a similar-sized one, should expect a looser or offset fit rather than a tailored one.
Pros and cons
- Cut specifically for the Royal Gourmet CC1830 line
- Velcro straps keep it from blowing off
- Handles make it easy to put on and remove
- Fits slightly loose on some units
- Not an exact match for other grill brands
Performance notes
The 600D polyester shell is rated for 30 percent more tear resistance than standard dyed fabric, with a PVC backing for water resistance and a UV coating to slow fading, and adjustable Velcro straps cinch it down against wind. Handles on the cover make it easier to pull on and off, and it comes with its own storage bag. The maker recommends letting the grill cool fully before covering it.
