Overview
A 2-pack privacy tempered glass screen protector made only for the iPhone 17 Pro Max 6.9 inch, using a dust-elimination tray for bubble-free installation and a 28-degree side-view privacy angle.
Magic John cuts this glass specifically for the iPhone 17 Pro Max's 6.9 inch screen, so it will not fit any other iPhone model despite looking similar to other privacy glass on the shelf. The privacy layer narrows the viewable angle to roughly 28 degrees, which keeps the screen legible head-on while blurring it from the side. Amazon's listing frames drop resistance around everyday slips and short falls under about 1.5 meters, not drops from 2 meters or more, and reviewer experience below is split between people who found it durable and people whose glass cracked from minor bumps.
- 2-pack privacy tempered glass sized only for iPhone 17 Pro Max 6.9 inch
- Auto dust-elimination install tray
- 28-degree side-view privacy angle
- Rated for everyday drops under about 1.5 meters, not high-impact falls
Who it's for
IPhone 17 Pro Max owners who want side privacy on a shared desk or in public and are getting a spare in the 2-pack in case the first one chips or cracks.
Pros and cons
- Auto-dust-elimination tray makes bubble-free installs easier
- 28-degree privacy angle keeps the screen private from the side
- Precise fit for iPhone 17 Pro Max, including a sealed speaker cutout
- 2-pack means a spare is on hand if the first cracks
- One reviewer rated the privacy layer's scratch resistance below a standard clear protector
- Only fits the iPhone 17 Pro Max 6.9 inch, no other model
Performance notes
The installation tray is built to auto-align the glass to the screen and pull away trapped dust as it is removed, which is the main thing that separates this from a plain peel-and-stick protector. The privacy effect comes from a directional film layered under the glass rather than a coating, narrowing the visible angle to about 28 degrees off-center. An oleophobic top layer resists fingerprint oil, and a separate dust cover is cut over the speaker opening without muffling volume.

Frequently asked questions
Does this Magic John screen protector fit other iPhone models?
No, it is cut only for the iPhone 17 Pro Max 6.9 inch and will not align correctly on any other iPhone.
How does the privacy angle work?
A directional film under the glass narrows the readable viewing angle to about 28 degrees, so the screen looks blacked out from the side while staying clear when viewed head-on.
