Overview
This is a 2-pack of privacy-tint tempered glass screen protectors cut specifically for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, adding a side-view filter on top of standard scratch protection.
The privacy layer works at a 28-degree viewing angle, so the screen darkens to anyone looking from the side while staying clear head-on, which is the main reason to pick this over a standard protector. It ships with an alignment tray meant to keep bubble-free application simple for anyone who has struggled with tempered glass before. Being cut exclusively for the iPhone 17 Pro Max means it will not fit any other iPhone model, including the standard 17 or 17 Pro.
- 2-pack of privacy tempered glass
- 28-degree side-view privacy filter
- Auto-align installation tool
- 9H hardness, SGS certified
Who it's for
Anyone who works or commutes in public and wants to keep their iPhone 17 Pro Max screen private from onlookers is the target buyer. It also suits anyone who simply wants glass protection and does not mind the screen darkening at an angle.
Pros and cons
- Two protectors included in one pack
- 28-degree privacy filter blocks side views
- Alignment tool for bubble-free installation
- 9H tempered glass with SGS certification
- Fits only the iPhone 17 Pro Max, not other models
- Privacy tint slightly darkens off-angle viewing for the user too
Performance notes
9H-rated nano-reinforced glass with SGS certification is the scratch and impact layer, sitting under a hydrophobic and oleophobic coating that resists fingerprints and smudging. Curved 2.5D edges are meant to keep the protector sitting flush against the phone's case.

Frequently asked questions
Does this fit the iPhone 17 or 17 Pro?
No, it is cut specifically for the iPhone 17 Pro Max and will not align correctly on other iPhone 17 models.
Will the privacy filter make the screen harder to see for me too?
The 28-degree filter is designed to stay clear head-on, so the darkening effect is meant for side angles rather than the direct view.
Is installation difficult?
SmartDevil includes an auto dust-elimination alignment tool intended for a fast, bubble-free application.
