Razer Kraken Kitty V3 Pro Wireless Gaming Headset

Overview

Razer's Kraken Kitty V3 Pro is a wireless gaming headset with light-reactive Chroma RGB cat ears, switching between 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.3, and wired USB. It runs 40mm Triforce drivers with THX Spatial Audio and rates up to 70 hours of battery life.

The kitty-ear design is the headline feature, syncing lighting to games and other Chroma devices, but strip that away and the underlying spec sheet, three connection modes, a retractable wideband mic, THX 7.1 surround, is a fairly conventional wireless gaming headset. No review data is attached yet to confirm real-world comfort, mic quality, or how the RGB affects battery life in practice.

• Chroma RGB reactive kitty ears
• Three connection modes including Bluetooth 5.3
• Triforce 40mm drivers with THX Spatial Audio
• Up to 70 hours of battery life

Who it's for

Gamers who want the Chroma RGB cat-ear aesthetic alongside standard wireless gaming headset features, across PC, console, or mobile via its three connection modes. Less relevant if you have no interest in the lighting and just want a plain headset, since you would be paying for a feature you will not use.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

Triforce 40mm drivers split into three parts to separate highs, mids, and lows, and THX Spatial Audio adds a virtual 7.1 surround layer on top for positional cues in games. The retractable Hyperclear mic uses a wider frequency range than a standard boom for voice pickup, and connectivity spans 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.3, and wired USB so it can move between a gaming PC, a console, and a phone. Memory foam ear cushions wrapped in protein leatherette are aimed at sound isolation as much as comfort.
