Overview
The Askar 60F is a manual focus telescope with a compact packed footprint of about 11 x 3 x 3 inches, small enough to travel in a backpack or camera bag rather than needing a dedicated case.
Askar is known for astrophotography focused refractor telescopes, and the slim, tube like dimensions here point to that same style rather than a bulky Newtonian or Dobsonian design. Beyond focus type and size, the available data does not list aperture, focal length or focal ratio, so buyers chasing a specific optical spec should confirm those numbers on the current listing.
- Manual focus telescope
- Packed dimensions around 11 x 3 x 3 inches
- Askar brand, model 60F
Who it's for
Fits a buyer wanting a compact, travel friendly manual focus scope, particularly one already looking at Askar's astrophotography focused lineup. Not the pick for anyone needing confirmed aperture or focal length figures before buying, since those specs are not listed here.
Pros and cons
- Compact, travel friendly packed size
- Aperture and focal length not listed in the data
- Review count of 20 is on the small side
Performance notes
With focus handled manually and no motorized system listed, adjustment comes down to turning the focuser by hand, which keeps the mechanism simple and lightweight, fitting the compact 11 x 3 x 3 inch packed size.
