AV Steel Swivel Bench Vise with Anvil 4-1/2"

Overview

AV Steel AV-800100 - a orange clamp.

At 10.1 pounds this reads as either a heavy-duty single clamp or a multi-piece clamp set rather than a light spring clamp, since most single hand clamps weigh well under that figure. The listing does not specify jaw opening, throat depth or clamp style, so buyers doing precision woodworking or metalworking should confirm those dimensions first.

• Clamp from AV
• Model AV-800100
• 10.1 pound weight

Who it's for

Fits buyers who need a heavy clamp or clamp set for holding larger workpieces during glue-ups, welding or assembly. Not the right choice for light trim or craft work, where a smaller, lighter clamp is easier to handle.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

The 10.1 pound weight points to either a single heavy clamp or a set of several, built for holding larger stock steady during work rather than quick, light tasks. Jaw opening and throat depth are not given in this listing, so fit against the intended workpiece should be checked before ordering.
