Overview
The Meowant MW-SC02 is an app-controlled automatic self-cleaning litter box built with a lidless, low-entry design for multiple cats, kittens and senior pets. It is a large-size unit measuring about 20 by 19 by 21.5 inches and weighing nearly 29 lbs.
Automatic boxes like this rely on a cleaning cycle that rakes waste into a sealed compartment after a cat leaves, with an anti-stuck sensor meant to pause that cycle if a cat is still inside. The low entry, open-top design targets kittens, seniors and cats that struggle to climb into a taller enclosed unit.
- App-controlled automatic cleaning
- Anti-stuck sensor
- Low-entry, no-lid design
- Large size, about 20in L x 19.3in W x 21.5in H
Who it's for
Suited to multi-cat households or owners of kittens and senior cats who need easier entry and less manual scooping. Owners who prefer an enclosed, odor-sealed box with a lid should note this model ships without one.
Pros and cons
- Low entry suits kittens and senior cats
- App control for monitoring cleaning cycles
- Anti-stuck sensor for safety during cleaning
- Sized for multiple cats
- No lid, so odor containment is weaker than an enclosed box
- At nearly 29 lbs it is not easy to relocate often
Performance notes
The self-cleaning mechanism and anti-stuck sensor are what let this box run unattended across multiple cats' visits, and app control adds remote monitoring of the cleaning schedule. The low entry and open top are a tradeoff, easier access for smaller or older cats but weaker odor containment than a lidded box.
