Overview
An electronic ink panel shows black text on a paper-like surface, and a touchscreen layer handles page turns and menus. Musnap adds Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a USB port for loading books, documents and images onto onboard storage.
Large onboard storage and native EPUB and MOBI support mean a personal library loads without conversion. Office documents and PDFs open too, though a pocket-size screen makes dense PDF pages small. Battery and front light details are missing from the specs.
Who it's for
Commuters and travelers who read novels and saved documents on a small screen will find it suits them. People who mostly read scanned textbooks, comics or full-page PDFs need a larger panel.
Pros and cons
- Large onboard storage for big libraries
- Opens EPUB, MOBI and PDF natively
- Reads Word documents and plain text
- Wi-Fi and Bluetooth built in
- Battery life not listed
- Small screen cramps full-page PDFs
- App support claimed only in the title
Performance notes
Text sharpness depends on the panel resolution spread across a small screen, which suits novel-sized type. PDFs and scanned pages shrink to fit, so zooming and panning decide how readable they are. Installed RAM affects how quickly large files and menus open.
