Overview
The Ghosthorn sling backpack is a waterproof tackle bag made from nylon in a black camouflage set, weighing about 1.68 kilograms with an adjustable strap.
Sling-style tackle backpacks are built for anglers who want to carry gear hands-free while wading or hiking to a spot, switching sides for casting access without removing the pack. The listing markets this one partly as a gift item, which suggests packaging aimed at gifting rather than a strictly technical angling design.
- Waterproof nylon construction
- 1.68 kilogram weight
- Black camouflage color
Who it's for
Anglers who want a single-strap, adjustable backpack to carry tackle to and from the water, including as a gift for someone who fishes. Less suited to anyone who needs a rigid, tray-based system rather than a soft sling bag.
Pros and cons
- Adjustable strap for fit
- Nylon build described as waterproof
- Sling design for hands-free, swing-around access
- Empty bag weight of 1.68 kilograms is on the heavier side
- No stated compartment or tray count
Performance notes
Sling bags distribute weight across one shoulder and can be swung around to the front for access without taking the whole pack off, which matters most when moving between spots. At 1.68 kilograms empty, the bag itself adds meaningful weight before any tackle goes in.
